Doosan Corporation Industrial Vehicle (DIV) have announced exciting plans for a new generation of artificially intelligent forklift trucks. The material handling equipment unit of the Doosan Group, which is located in South Korea, is hoping these high-tech forklifts will raise the bar when it comes to heavy duty work.

About the job:

Working in our purpose built work shop you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance and servicing of our customer trucks as well as maintaining our fleet of hire trucks. This is a varied role and is extremely fast paced so it is essential that you are able to fault find and use your own initiative, a minimum of three years experience is essential, either working on forklift trucks or heavy plant machinery. You need to be a good communicator and able to work both independently and as part of a team, updating the workshop manager on progress and estimated finish times. Health and safety awareness is a major factor in this role as we are working on large, heavy machines on a daily basis. You will be responsible for finishing any works on time and within the number of allocated hours or informing the workshop manager if there are additional issues so that the customer can be notified and agree the additional costs. Filling in hand written worksheets and time sheets are also a part of this role as well as strong communication skills and good time keeping. Hours are around 40 per week with the option to do additional overtime as required.
