It’s been a great year here at Budget Fork Trucks and as we are heading towards the end of the year and the Christmas break, we thought it might be a good idea to look back over 2019 and celebrate some of the highlights.
Big news from Budget Fork Trucks in 2019
We started big in January, when we purchased another new lorry to enable us to work in the London Low Emission Zone (LEZ). The lorry also means that we’ve increased our capacity to 2 articulated vehicles, which have been a great new asset for the business and our customers.
As well as working throughout the year with our great customers, it’s always good to be able to meet up with other in the industry. In September, we attended the IMHX exhibition in Birmingham’s NEC. It was a great chance to see our partners, like Doosan, and visit them on their fantastic stand to chat all things forklifts. We also took the opportunity to meet with customers, suppliers and other dealers to network and make the most of the fantastic knowledge within our industry.
We’ve ended the year just as we started it, with more big news! This time it is our office that has been changing and in December we relocated into our newly refurbished workplace. Not sure if settling in, the end of the year and Christmas was quite the trio we had wanted to tackle at once, but everyone is pleased to be in and we are enjoying the new space.
Doosan – ringing the changes in 2019
One of the advantages of working in our industry is that we partner with leading manufacturers, such as Doosan, to bring our customers the best forklifts for their growing businesses.

Doosan BC20S-7 BC30S-7 cushion-tyred electric models
These great new additions to the Doosan’s 4-wheeled electric forklifts range boast faster travel and lift speeds to ensure peak performance. As with all of Doosan’s electric range, their energy consumption efficiency gives you more run time per battery charge.
D/G40 to 60 gas- & diesel-powered forklift range
With optimized operator comfort and safety, and high powered and fuel efficient diesel and LPG engines for high performance these forklifts have low emissions and minimal vibration.
New 3-wheel electric range 24 volt powered models from B13R to B16R
Doosan’s Series 7 forklifts have been really popular this year, and with good reason. With excellent visibility for drivers, as well as smooth driving control, it’s a great investment and one that will be popular with your forklift drivers!
A complete new warehouse range of power pallet & stacker models
Doosan’s updated range of pallet and stacker trucks cater for all requirements, including operating in narrow areas and lifting heavy loads. These are popular for warehouses, and their new range has added features to help you double load, or transport up to 5 tonnes.
A new lightweight power pallet truck with lithium ion battery model LPM15
One of these pallet trucks is the Doosan LPM15. Using the increasingly popular Li-ion technology, this battery powered truck also has ergonomic design, a multifunctional display and safe design with automatic braking.
2019 has been a great year for us, and it’s wonderful to be able to reflect on all that has happened. We hope that it has been a good one for you too, and look forward to working with you in 2020.
